Amanda studied Sogetsu Ikebana in Japan for 11 years. The transitory nature of an Ikebana installation symbolizes the fleeting beauty of life. She uses plants and other materials to combine traditional and contemporary themes with a blend of Eastern and Western sensibilities. |
